Why we built MedixoRx
Most pharmacy software in India was built for large chains and multi-store operations, then scaled down for a single-counter medical store as an afterthought. It assumes a fast, always-on internet connection, a dedicated computer person, and a budget that a neighbourhood pharmacy simply doesn't have.
We built MedixoRx the other way around: for the single-counter or two-counter pharmacy first. It runs entirely on the store's own computer — billing, inventory, purchase entry, and GST reports all work with no internet connection at all. The cloud is used only for what genuinely needs it: encrypted backup, license verification, and (optionally) AI-powered invoice scanning.
What we actually do
MedixoRx is Electron desktop software (Windows and Linux) built on a local database, so a pharmacy's billing and stock data always lives on their own machine — not on a server they don't control. On top of that:
- GST billing in under 10 seconds per sale, with CGST/SGST breakdown, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B export, and a Schedule H/H1 register for prescription-controlled sales.
- Inventory and purchase management, including expiry tracking, reorder alerts, and supplier ledgers.
- Scan with AI — photograph or upload a distributor's invoice and have it read automatically into purchase entry, instead of typing every line by hand.
- Encrypted cloud backup, so a hard-drive failure doesn't mean losing years of billing history.

Offline comes first
A pharmacy has to be able to bill a customer regardless of whether the internet is working that day. Everything core to running the counter works fully offline.
Priced for a real pharmacy
One transparent annual price, no setup fee, no per-bill charges. What a small pharmacy pays should scale with what it can afford, not with what an enterprise buyer would pay.
